Sincerity
I heard about the difference between cultured pearls and real pearls. To make a cultured pearl they put a little bead inside the oyster. The oyster coats the bead and soon it looks just like a real pearl. The problem with a cultured pearl though is that over time the coating begins to chip off because it is not real all the way through.

The Lord reminded me that He works slowly because He wants me to be real all the way through. He does not want me to be the kind of Christian that matures quickly but then chips because I do not have a good foundation.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
~Jeremiah 29:11
