If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15

Lightining
My mother had just bought a computer for me. I didn't have a surge protector for it yet so she cautioned me not to leave it plugged in when I was not using it. That afternoon I was fiddeling around with it a bit before church. In the middle of the service the thunder started rumbaling then when the lights went out I got a sick feeling in my stomach.

It wasn't because I was afraid I would lose my computer, although I figured I would probably never get another one. It was the sacrifice that my mother made that I had taken so lightly. As I sat there in the service I wresled with the idea that if God chose to allow the elecrical storm blow my computer it was His loving choice for me.

On the way home I realized how much worse it is when I take the sacrifice that Jesus made for me lightly. When I am not careful to avoid sin or even choose to sin.

The bus made it home before the storm hit the training center so my computer was fine.
