Counsel of the Ungodly
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

This one hit home as I was reviewing Psalm 1. I am careful of the friendships that I make. I have heard that the two things that will make you different in ten years from what you are today are the books you read and the friends you have. The Lord gave me a wakeup call though. How much time have I spent walking in the counsel of the ungodly, standing in the way of sinners, and sitting in the seat of the scornful while watching the television. I wonder how much the things I have seen on tv have influenced the way I think. Check out this little story.
