But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass as it is this day, to save much people alive. Gen 50:20

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials; knowing that the testing for your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4

But the God of all grace who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while (felt the pain of sin), make you perfect ( restored, complete), establesh (to turn resolutely in a certain direction), strengthen (in spiritual knowledge and power), settle you (lay the foundation). 1 Peter 5:10

"My grace is sufficent for thee: for my power is perfected in weakness," Most gladly, therefore, I will rather bost about my weakness, that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weakness, with insults, with disress, with persecutions, with difficulties for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strang. 2 Cor 12-9-10

but we golory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience experience; and experience hope: Rom 5:3-4

For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Jer 29:11
Two Sides
Satan hath desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat. Luke 2:26

be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour; 1 Peter 5:8

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Eph 6:12

there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 2 Cor 12:7b

For we would not brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: But we had the senence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God, who raiseth the dead: 2 Cor 1:8-9

Beloved, think it not srange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you; But rejoice, in as much as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4:12-13

The Lord showed me how every trouble, every trial, every obstical, every temptation that comes my way is like a two sided coin. The enemy tries to use it to harm me and God's kingdom. The Lord has a good end in mind for it though. Because of God's nature, everything that happens to me is for my good and God's glory - Everything!

Some of the things in my childhood sure don't look like it right now but I know that when I get to heaven and see them from His perspective I will agree with His choice.
