Tenderness
A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quentch: ~ Isaiah 42:3
This picture came at a time when I was feeling overwhelmed with the failures I was having in my spiritual life. I had just done some minor surgery on one of my house plants that had a broken limb. The Lord used it to remind me that He is merciful and tender with me also. He desires to refine not to crush. He will never cause me or allow me to go through any pain without a purpose and I can trust Him for that.
